Information Architecture

Objective

The objective of the Information Architecture assignment was to build on prior User Research, and continue to solve the design problem. The requirements included a content inventory spreadsheet for the app, and static wireframes for the home page and metadata that reflect the information architecture and hierarchy.

Content Inventory Spreadsheet

The content inventory spreadsheet was used to help me organize information to form a hierarchy for the features of the app.

Basic Site Map Diagram 

This site map was helpful to my app proposal because I was able to visually execute my ideas for how I wanted the layout of the app to look once it was on a screen.

Information Relationships with Metadata 

Creating a static wireframe for relationships with metadata helped me visualize how I would set up the subsections of metadata within the app.
